Description
This map includes two insets: Plat of New Holstein village and Village of Chilton. The map also includes a table of statistics showing the assessed value of real estate and public property; estimated population in 1874; Democratic, Republican, and vote totals for 1873 for Brillion, Brothertown, Charlestown, Chilton, Harrison, New Holstein, Rantoul, Stockbridge, and Woodville; list of county officers; and business directories for Chilton, Stockbridge, Potter's Mills, New Holstein, Sherwood, Brothertown, Hayton, Hilbert Junction, Woodville, Baldwin or Forest Junction, and Gravesville. The map is bordered by engravings of the Chilton House, Jacob Wirth's Block, the residence of George Baldwin, and the county court house, all in Chilton; Luethge's Hotel in New Holstein; and the residence of H.B. Nugent in Clifton. Lake Winnebago is labeled on the far left.
