Bonne, Rigobert

1783 ca.
Description
Map of the north east coast of the United States, north of Virginia and east of Lake Erie. It shows the states, forts, cities, towns, mountains, Niagara Falls, rivers, and lakes. The map is rather plain, with minimal decoration; a typical style of Bonne who dispensed with even the more simplistic ornamentations of other cartographers such as bordered title cartouches or a compass rose.
