These Wisconsin Conservation Dept. maps from 1939 show lake improvements, lake bed composition, buildings, and on-shore vegetation for three lakes: Island Lake in Bayfield Couty; Chain Lake in Rusk and Chippewa counties, and Manson Lake in Oneida County. Lake depths are shown by contours and soundings. |
