BURNETT COUNTY, WISCONSIN. 105 Page 62 shows the faces of Burnett county's treasurer and sheriff. Treas¬ urer Tollefson Is now serving his -eighth year In that office aod before ¦becommg treasurer was sheriff. In Wisconsin a treasurer can serve but ¦two terms in succession and he will therefore go out of office next January Sheriff Olson has long been a resi¬ dent of the county and is one of its most enthusiastiG sportsmen. One of his hunting parties Is represented on page 4L Thereds so little to do in the offi^je of sheriff in this county that Mr. Olson devotes most of his time to work on the road as traveling sales¬ man for a wh jlesale house, leaving a -deputy to look after what may show up outside of court weeks. The sher¬ iff servas but one term and Mr. Olson will have a successor next year. The pictures on page 63 represent the clerk of court and the district at¬ torney. Clerk Hickerson has held his office nearly sixteen years and during that time has written more applica¬ tions for homesteads than any other -clerk of court In Northern Wisconsin. Mr. Myrland has -been a resident of the county nearly six years aod has held the office of d strict attorney four years. He is a candidate for re-elec¬ tion without opposition. He lschair» man of the republican county commit¬ tee. Before engaging in the practice of law he was principal of several high schools in the southern part of the state. He is a native of Norway. In addition to his law practice he Is one of the editors of the Burnett County Sentinel and half owner of the same. Page 64 shows the register of deeds and county surveyor, "Little And¬ rew" as Mr. Anderson is best known is perhaps the most popular man io the county. For sixteen years he has recorded the deeds of this county and seldom has any opposition when he runs for any office. He is again the the party nominee without opposition and will be re-elected. He is always seeking to do for others and never to do .';thers. This ^ives him a very large circle of adniirers who are always
