Sunday 22d
Did not go to church this morning. In the afternoon went with Mr. Craig to the University to hear the Baccalaureate Address. It was cool and pleasant. Went to the Methodist Church in the evening.
Monday 23d
Went to school as usual this morning. After school went up town. At home in the evening. Went fishing in the afternoon, did not catch anything.
Tuesday 24th
Visited Mr. Allen's school today. Some of the scholars went with us. Went to the City Hall in the evening to the first of the Commencement exercises. The poem by Hebbell(sp) was very good. Anna Main sang.
Wednesday 25th
Went to the City Hall at nine o'clock to the Commencement exercises. They closed at twelve. We had a picnic in the afternoon at McBride's Point. Sarah & Mary Turner and Campbell and McKenny were with us. Had a pleasant time. Went to Prof. Leathorp's(sp) lecture in the evening.
Thursday 26th
School again as usual. Nothing of particular importance occurred today.
Friday 27th
Miss Crocker thought we had better commence our German again today. We all staid to take tea with her.
Saturday 28th
Went to teacher's meeting this morning. Exercise on the elementary grounds. Fannie & I and Mr. Craig went fishing this afternoon. Took our supper with us, landed at six and ate it under a large tree on the point. It was very pleasant. We caught about fifteen fish and enjoyed ourselves wonderfully.
