[NOTE: No entries from April 20th , 1863 through June 27th, 1863]
Sunday June 28th 1863
Another long gap in my journal, and I promised myself at the last that that there should not be another if it was in my power to prevent it, but such are human resolves. The last two months I have been very busy, between attending school and the meetings and getting my lessons, my time has been fully occupied. I never enjoyed a mission[indecipherable] better in my life and deeply regret that I am not able to go on with my studies, when I think of what I might do and what I might be if I only had an opportunity of continuing my studies for two or three
